Open Ended Contract Feature
Head Contractors can now create open ended contracts for vendors who operate on a per unit cost, rather than a defined contract amount. Unlike typical contracts, open ended contracts rely upon a manually entered Do Not Exceed amount on the Contract Maintenance page, which is hidden from the Subcontractor. Subcontractors will pay usage fees based upon progress claim amounts instead of a set amount when accepting the subcontract.
You will see these do not exceed amounts during the progress claim approval workflow.
