New Settings Allow Overbilling

As a General Contractor or an Owner acting as a General Contractor on a project, you can now select new project, organizational, and subcontract settings to enable overbilling of line items, components, or both. When enabled, you can choose to bill for a value greater than the amount specified in a line item when entering an invoice. Subcontractors can bill for an amount greater than the amount specified in a line item or component, depending on which overbilling option you choose. You cannot bill for an amount greater than the contract value.

Reach out to your Textura representative to determine if enabling overbilling is beneficial for your organization or integration package.

Enhancements

General Contractors

  • You can now add a third stepped retention rate and second trigger when setting up contract level retention. For example, you can set up retention so 10% retention is held for the first 50% of the contract value, then 5% is held until 90% of the contract is billed. Once the contract reaches the 90% complete threshold, TPM will hold 2% retention.
  • A new Configurations tab is added to the Integration Home page. This tab is displayed only if your organization uses Texturalink Cloud. The Configuration tab displays all configurations that were exported from TPM. You can also download an individual configuration in csv format.
