Setting Up a Verification Phone Number

Enable a verification phone number on Oracle Textura Payment Management regardless of your role to better protect your account from unauthorised password changes. Additionally, having a verification phone number will provide the ability to retrieve your username.

It is recommended that you use a phone that supports SMS for your verification phone number so that you can receive SMS notifications from the system.

To set up a verification phone number:

  1. Navigate to the Edit User Page
  2. From the Account Security section, select the Setup Verification Phone Number link.

    A dialogue box appears.

  3. From the drop-down in the dialog box, select the country from which you have a phone number.
  4. Enter the phone number you will use for two-factor verification.
  5. Re-enter the phone number.
  6. Select Next.

A Verify Identity dialogue box appears.

  7. In the Verify Identity dialogue box, select to receive the security code as a text message (SMS) or voice call, and then select Continue.
    • An Enter Security Code dialogue box appears.
    • The application sends a 7-digit security code to your phone via the method you chose (text message or voice call).
  8. In the Enter Security Code dialogue box, enter the security code, and then select Continue.

A Two-Step Verification Successful message displays.

  9. From the Two-Step Verification Successful dialogue box, select Close to return to the user profile.
