Identifying Your Domain Set Up in Oracle Cloud
Log in to your Cloud Account to see the domains defined by your organization.
Notes:
- Consider consulting with your internal IT expert for any policies your company may have for setting up new identity providers.
- For information on how to create OAuth credentials, see Creating OAth 2.0 Client Credentials.
- From the Navigation menu in the upper left portion of the page, click Identity & Security.
- From the Identity section, click Domains.
- From the List scope | Compartment drop-down list, select the (root)compartment.
- Either:
- From the list, select the OracleIdentityCloudService domain.
- Create a new domain for configuring the DaaS application.
- Select the Integrated applications tab.
You will use this to add a new application.
- Begin the setup process.
- Click Add application.
- Select Confidential Application.
- From the bottom of the dialog box, click Launch Workflow.
- Add application details.
- Enter a name for the new confidential application. For example, enter TPM DaaS.
- (Optional) Enter a description.
- Select the Display in my Apps check box.
- Click Submit.
- Configure OAuth.
- Open the TPM DaaS app you created and select the OAuth configuration tab.
- Click the ... menu and select Edit OAuth configuration.
- Select the Configure the application as a resource server now option.
- In the Primary audience field, enter the primary audience. For example, enter texturadaas.
- Select the Add scopes check box and click Add.
The Add Scope dialog box displays.
- From the Add Scope dialog box:
- Enter the scope as :read.
- Enter a display name.
- Select Add.
- In the Client configuration dialog box:
- Select Configure this application as a client now.
- From the Authorization section, select Client credentials.
- From the Allowed operations section, select the Introspect check box.
- From the Client IP address section, select Anywhere.
- From the Authorized resources section, select Confidential.
- Click Submit.
- From the Actions menu, select Activate.
- Click Activate application to confirm the activation.
The configured Confidential Application you defined displays.
