Verifying the IDCS Token Generation with Postman

Note: We recommend using a client with GraphQL support to explore Textura DaaS GraphQL features.

To verify the IDCS token generation with Postman:

  1. Select the OAuth configuration tab.
  2. From the General Information section, copy the Client ID and the Client Secret to your notepad.

    These will serve as basic authentication credentials when requesting a token from the identity provider.

  3. From the Navigation menu, navigate to the IdentityCloudService domain.
  4. Copy the Domain URL.
  5. In Postman, enter the details you added when you generated an IDCS token with GraphQL.

    Note: For more information on how to generate an IDCS token with the GraphQL plugin, see IDCS Token Generation in Postman Using the GraphQL Plugin.

  6. After completing authentication, click Proceed.

    The token details are displayed.
