Meaning
Textura tried to connect to the Viewpoint SQL Server database, but could not reach the database server before the connection timed out.
Possible Cause
- The SQL Server host or instance name is incorrect.
- The SQL Server service is stopped or unavailable.
- The database server is not reachable from the integration environment.
- A firewall, network rule, VPN, or routing issue is blocking access.
- SQL Server is not configured to allow remote connections.
- Named Pipes or the required SQL Server network protocol is not enabled or reachable.
Recommended Resolution
Ask your ERP administrator or database administrator to verify the SQL Server host and instance name are correct, the SQL Server is running, remote connections are allowed, and the integration environment can reach the database server.
