SQL Server Connection Refused
Example
Failed to connect database: SQL Server connection refused / login timeout expired.
Meaning
Textura reached the target server, but the server refused the database connection.
Possible Cause
- The SQL Server is not listening on the configured port.
- The wrong server or port is configured.
- A firewall or security rule is actively rejecting the connection.
- The SQL Server is stopped or not accepting remote connections.
- The SQL Server instance is unavailable.
Recommended Resolution
Ask your ERP administrator or database administrator to confirm the SQL Server is listening on the configured host and port, remote connections are enabled, and firewall rules allow the integration connection.
If the configured connection details are wrong, contact Textura Support to update them.
