The Integration Cannot Sign In Because Two-Factor Authentication is Enabled
Error Message
Two-factor authentication is enabled for this user.
Error Example
Two-factor authentication is enabled for this user. You cannot log in with this user account.
Meaning
Acumatica rejected the integration sign-in because the account uses two-factor authentication. This message does not mean every Acumatica integration requires you to disable two-factor authentication.
Possible Causes
- Two-factor authentication may have been enabled or required for the integration account.
- The account used by the integration may have changed.
- The account’s permitted sign-in method or security settings may not support the adapter’s current method.
Recommended Resolution
Textura integration does not support two-factor authentication. Contact your ERP administrator to review and disable it.
Contact Textura Support, your ERP administrator, or your ERP consultants to confirm the approved account and authentication setup supported by the adapter.
Caution: Do not disable two-factor authentication yourself or weaken organization-wide security. Follow your organization’s security approval process for any authentication change.
After correcting the approved setup, wait for Textura to retry. Waiting alone will not normally resolve an authentication configuration issue.
