Updating Discount Terms Before the Discount Applies

You can modify the discount amount up until the date the discount applies. This option modifies the discount on a single payment. You can use this feature on contracts with either rate type (variable or fixed rate discounts).

To update discount terms before the discount date:

  1. Navigate to the Manage Payments page.
  2. From the Manage Payments page, select Edit.

    The Edit Payment Status page appears. It includes a Change Discount section if a discount is offered on the contract.

    Note: The Edit Payment Status page is also used to manage payment holds.

  3. Enter the new discount amount.
  4. Select Change Discount.
