Retention Tab for Subcontractors

The Retention tab displays information on retention held and requested as a part of the billing process. If the Head Contractor enables retention billing for the period, you can request previously held retention.

The tab includes a summary of retention amounts:

Held This Period: The amount held for the current period.
Held Percent This Period: The percentage held for the current period.
Held Previous: The total amount held in previous periods (minus any previously requested retention).
Held to Date: The total amount held including the current period.
Request This Period: Any previously held retention requested in the current period.
Note: Australian projects use Contract Level Retention.
