Custom Variable Overview

Custom variables are fields an Editor can add to a document template to collect additional information from the Signer. There are four predefined custom variables built into the application.

You can change the Field Label for an optional variable to match the terminology used by your organisation. The updated label appears in the Additional Document Information dialogue box during signing, the Manage Statutory Declarations alert tooltip, and the field list in the Documents Editor. Changing a field label only affects the displayed name and does not change the field's functionality, stored data, project settings, or document processing.

Note: Each predefined field label must be unique.
