Managing Variation Compliance

Use the application to view variation compliance and require the signed receipt of variations.

Configuring Variation Compliance

From the Payment Holds section on the Project Settings page, select the Require Variation Compliance option. When selected, the application places a hold on payments for any contractor who bills for line items with non-compliant variations.

Viewing Variations

From the Subcontracts project menu at the top of any project page, select the Subcontract Variations page.

Updating the Variation Compliance Status

  1. From the Subcontract Variations tab of the Variations page, find the row for the variation to update.
  2. From the drop-down menu in the Compliance Status column for the variation to edit, select a new status.
    • A Success message displays, confirming your changes to the Variation compliance have been saved.
    • The application enforces variation holds once you approve the Subcontractor invoice.
