Using Variation Compliance for Subcontractors

As a Subcontractor, view the Prime Contract Variation section of the Project Home page to see variation compliance. This section shows variations created by the Main Contractor for the prime contract.

Note: The prime contract is your contract with the Main Contractor.

Main Contractors can require compliance tracking for all Subcontractor variations on a project. When variation compliance is required, the Main Contractor will communicate the requirements and update compliance status.

View Variations

Choose Show Contract Variations to expand the section.

See two variation sections? If you are a Prime Subcontractor, you will see a separate section for any Subcontract Variations (SVs).

Note: Subcontract Variations are those you have created for Sub-Tier Subcontractors.

The expanded section lists variations that impact the prime subcontract.

Compliance

If the project requires variation compliance, then compliance status is included in the list of variations.

Note: You can use the Non Compliant tickbox to see only non-compliant variations.

Holds

A hold is applied automatically if two criteria are met:

Compliance is set to Non-Compliant.
A line item that includes a non-compliant variation is included in a Payment Application.
