Enter Work Breakdown for Main Contractors

Use the Edit Work Breakdown page to enter the budget after a project is created on the system.

At first, the Edit Work Breakdown page shows a single line item. The Description column displays the Contract Description entered on the Project Settings page, and the Work Breakdown Amount column shows the Original Contract Value.

The Work Breakdown (WB) is your project's budget within the system. As a Main Contractor, you may only need a single line item. You will need to add lines to the WB to show a detailed budget (work breakdown) and payment application if you:

Either upload the budget or enter a detailed budget (work breakdown) manually.

Note: Only users with the Project Manager role can edit a WB.
