Business Classification Tracking Enhancements

Enhancements to the Business Classification Tracking feature include some of your biggest requests and offer more options when adding classification data.

  • Applying a business classification tracking (BCT) value to a Prime Subcontractor will automatically apply that value to that organisation's Sub-Tier organisations. If you already manually added a BCT value to a Sub-Tier organisation, changing the Prime Subcontractor's BCT value will not change or override it.
  • Change the percentage of the contract and paid to date amounts which apply to the BCT classification.

Additionally, the Business Classification Tracking page now includes information on organisation type. At a glance, you will see if an organisation is On-Sys (on system), Manual (an organistion without an account on TPM), or a VAT Invoice Sub (an organisation which only uses TPM to sign VAT invoices).

See the Updating a Classification Percentage help topic for how to change payment percentages associated with business classifications.

Enhancements

Main Contractors

  • Report Enhancements:
    • Subcontractor Reconciliation Report: The report no longer uses row breaks to display separate project information. This better aligns the report output appearance with that of other reports on the application. Now, you will find the MC name, project name, and project number in the columns at the beginning of the report.

Before generating the report, you can also now use a date filter to filter projects by the period end date.

    • Subcontractor Component and Sub Component Listing Reports: View tax code values in either report output. The Subcontractor Component Report includes tax code values based on the current period while the Sub Component Listing Report includes tax code values based on each period.
    • Owner Funding Report: Generate the new Owner Funding Report to see information about Owner funding on a project.
    • Owner Billing with Payment Application Codes Report: The report output now includes two additional columns: Handling Code and the Handling Code Description.
  • For organisations that use TexturaLink Cloud, a new Schedule Jobs tab is added to the Integration Home page. From this tab, you can create a schedule to manage your import and export jobs. You can create, edit, delete, enable, and disable job schedules from this tab. See the Working with Schedule Jobs help topic for more information.
  • When using Serial Approval, there is a new project setting to require Approvers to include a reason when restarting the approval workflow. This is now a required field and you cannot restart Serial Approval without it.
  • For projects that have Pay Less Notice Deadline enabled, two new settings are added (Send email reminder for unapproved payment notices before Pay Less Notice Deadline and Send Generic Pay Less Notice reminder after Period End Date) that allow you to control when email reminders should be sent out to approvers.
