Specified Billing Overview
Why Use Specified Billing?
If a subcontract uses Specified Billing, the Main Contractor can enter payment applications for Subcontractors. Subcontractors must review the Payment Applications and apply their electronic signatures to pay applications, but they will not control the payment amounts.
As a Main Contractor choose Specified Billing if:
- You want to specify the amounts in your Subcontractor's payment application.
- A project requires standard billing for each Subcontractor.
