Assigning Users to Project Roles for Subcontractors
You must have the Create Projects permission to assign user roles. Only Project Managers can assign roles.
- Navigate to the User Roles Page
From the Project Setup menu at the top of the Subcontractor Home page or Sub-Tier Home page, select User Roles.
- Select the tick box in the user's row to assign a user to the project role. Each column needs to have at least one user selected. You will not be able to save until all the required roles are filled.
Unable to select the right user?
- Users must have the appropriate User Can permissions for the role
- User Permissions are selected in the User Profile, under the User Can section

- Select Save Changes.
A Status page confirms you successfully updated the user access. An email is generated and sent to the users who were assigned roles.
