Creating a Segment for General Contractors
To create a segment:
- Navigate to the My Organization Settings Page
- From under your organization name at the top of any page, select My Organization Settings.
- From the bottom of the My Organization Profile page, select the My Organization Settings link.
- Select the Enable Segments check box.
- Select the Manage Segments button. A Manage Segments pane displays.
- From the Manage Segments pane, select Add Segment.
- In the Segment ID field of the new line, add a segment number or ID.
Notes:
- Only use numbers and letters in the Segment ID field.
- Match the Segment ID format in the system to the format used by your accounting package.
- In the Segment Description field of the new line, add a segment name, region, or description.
- Select Save.
