Configure Unit Billing Settings
General Contractor Project Managers now have additional options when using unit billing on a project. Choose whether the Unit Price or the Schedule of Values line total remains constant when the system calculates unit billing fields.
Select the Schedule of Values constant when projects include fixed budget contracts. Adjustments to the unit quantity or unit price fields will not change the established schedule of value price. Use the Unit Price as a constant if a contract includes a more flexible budget. Changing the unit quantity will calculate a new schedule of value while the unit price remains static.
In addition, sample CSV files also include columns for Unit of Measure, Unit Price, and Unit Quantity when projects use the Display Units project setting.
