Working with the Project Home Page for General Contractors

  1. Tasks Tab: Separates outstanding project tasks into different types. Task types include: Project Setup, Budget, Compliance, and Payment. Select a link in one of the tiles to go to a page in the application to complete the task. These tasks also display on the Tasks page.
  2. Payment Tab: Displays a color-coded bar with payment status for the duration of the project. View totals for paid, pending payment, on hold, and retained amounts. Choose to view a payment summary of either all subcontracts or just your contract.
  3. In Progress Draws: Shows all open and submitted draws. Draws are open when My Contract or Subcontract invoices can be processed. Draws are submitted when billing is closed, but payments are outstanding. Select the name of a draw to go to the Draw Home Page.
  4. Completed Draws: Shows all draws where all payments were disbursed.
  5. Page View: Defaults to a card view. Select the bullet icon to change the page display to a list view. You can only see open and submitted draws in a card or list view. Completed draws always display in a list view.
  6. Open Draw Cards: Includes the number of Subcontractor invoices awaiting submission and approval. See outstanding project tasks for your organization, and link to tasks you need to complete to manage your subcontracts.

The More menu links to the Manage Invoices, Close Draw, Manage Draw Participants, Manage Lien Waivers, Manage Payments, and Print Draw Documents pages. User permissions and project roles determine which links you see.

When no open draws exist, the Open Draws section includes a link to initiate a draw.

  7. Submitted Draw Cards: Includes the number of Subcontractors available for authorization and disbursement and links to the Draw Home Page. See outstanding disbursement-related tasks for your organization. A count of payment holds shows how many Subcontractors currently cannot receive payment for the draw.

Submitted draw cards also include links to the Manage Draw Payments and Print Draw Documents pages.

User permissions, project roles, and project settings determine which links you see.

  8. Drafted Draw Cards (Not Pictured): If you create a draw schedule, you may see an additional draw card type on the Project Home page. When a draw is scheduled to initiate in the next five days, a Drafted Draws section displays above the Open Draws section. Each card includes the draw period, scheduled draw initiation date, and number of participants included. If you need to update draw settings or participants for the drafted draw, select the Manage Draw Participants link from the More menu.

See Schedule Draws for more information on this feature.
