Working with the Usage Fees Page
The Usage Fees page contains a summary section and three tabs: Fee Payments, Usage Fee Events, and Fee Receipts.
Summary Section
A summary section shows the Fee Type table, a Payment Summary table, and a Bank Reference ID.
See a Tax column? The jurisdiction (state/city) in which you are located has determined that online software is taxable. The tax is shown in a separate column.
Fee Payments Tab
The Fee Payments tab shows usage fee payments. The payments are shown in a table with a line for each. It includes:
- Invoice date
- Fee type
- Payment amount
- Tax (if applicable)
- Total
- Payment status
- Payment date.
Usage Fee Events Tab
The Events are shown in a table with a line for each event that changes the usage fees.
It includes:
- Invoice date
- Event that changes the usage fee
- Fee basis
- Fee amount.
What kind of event can change the usage fee?
- A contract confirmation
- A change order that increases the contract value more than 25%
- A change order that decreases the contract value more than 20%
- The final contract reconciliation
Notes:
- On-System Sub-Tier Subcontractors only pay a flat Sub-Tier Fee to invoice through the system. Change orders and other events will not change the total fee for On-System Sub-Tier Subcontractors.
- If the collection of your usage fee failed, a dialog box will prompt you to fix your payment information. If you return to this page after you update your payment details and choose to retry the fee collection process, you will see a message stating the fee collection is in progress. The message disappears once your usage fee is successfully collected. See Usage Fee Failures for more information.
Fee Receipts Tab
The Fee Receipts tab shows fee transactions. The transactions are shown in a table with a line for each. It includes:
- Payment date
- Total payments
- A link to the Fee Receipt.
Choose the link to see the Subcontractor Fee Payment Receipt page.
