Retention Tab for Subcontractors

If the General Contractor enables retention billing for a draw, you will see a Retention tab as a part of your Billing Workflow. On this tab, you can request retention as part of the draw process.

If retention lock is on and the draw does not allow retention billing, you will not see this tab.

Note: If you billed for stored materials in addition to work completed, Textura supports retention on both billing types, provided the retention percentage is the same for each. To ensure retention is calculated correctly, use the same retention percentage for both billing types.
