Benefits of Using SSO
- Users can use their organization's login to sign-in to TPM.
- Users have fewer usernames/passwords to manage.
- Organizations have centralized control over who has access to their systems.
- Organizations can disable users quickly – once they are disabled intheir IDP they cannot get access to TPM.
- New users still need to be added in TPM following the standard user creation process.
- Clients should still communicate user deactivation requests as they do today for maintaining an accurate active user list in TPM.
- Improved User Privacy: TPM does not access or store user passwords. Note, notary users must still maintain and enter their username, password and PIN when notarizing documents in TPM).
