E2144 Cmd Rej: Location invalid for hardware configuration

A card must be equipped and must be in the appropriate location for the card type. Refer to Commands User's Guide for information about the card requirements for a particular command.

For the chg-ee-card and rept-stat-ee commands, the value specified for the loc parameter does not have Eagle Eyes service capability.

For the chg-gedti-card command, the value specified for the loc parameter must correspond to the location of a card provisioned as an IPSM card.

For the dact-gedti command, the value specified for the loc parameter must refer to an equipped card location.

For the disp-tbl and set-tbl commands, the 1117 location is used by E5-MDAL cards, the 1113 and 1115 locations are used by E5-MCAP cards, and the 1114 and 1116 locations are used by E5-TDM cards.

For the ent-card command, the n+1 slot next to the SM or HC-MIM card must be empty, where n is the odd-numbered location (for example, if the SM card is in location 1101, then the 1102 slot must be empty and not provisioned).

For the rept-stat-card command, the card location specified by the loc parameter must be equipped.

For the rept-stat-sflog command, the shelf and card must be equipped.

For the rept-stat-deir command, the card at the specified location does not support this command.

For the rept-stat-enum command, the shelf and card must be equipped, and the card specified by the loc parameter must have an application of enumhc.

For the rtrv-card command, the specified card location must be equipped in the database.

Recovery

  1. Display the cards in the database. Enter the rtrv-card command.
  2. Re-enter the command that generated this error message, specifying a valid card location. Refer to Commands User's Guide for more information about the card requirements for each command.
