AR Credit Limit (ar_balance with ARA1.FMX)

Note: This report is only available when the CASHIERING > ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLES application function is set to Y.

The AR Credit Limit Report displays a summarized alphabetic listing of all accounts with their balances for the current Business Date. Based on the selection criteria on the attached form, the report can filter out Accounts that have a Zero balance and also only display those accounts that have exceeded their configured Credit Limit. The Credit Limit is pulled from the Credit Limit field on the Account Setup form.

Selection Criteria

Sort Order. Account Name, Account Number, Balance Ascending, Balance Descending.

Exclude Zero Balance Accounts. If checked, the output will not display any AR accounts whose balance is zero.

Exceeded Credit Limit Only. If selected, the output will only display those AR accounts that have exceeded the configured credit limit amount. You configure this credit limit amount for each AR account in Account Setup.

Report Output

Account No. Number assigned to the AR Account.

Account Name. Name attached to the AR Account.

City. City attached to the AR Account.

AR Balance. Total AR Balance for the AR Account.

Credit Limit/LOC. Credit Limit assigned to the AR Account. The credit limit that is displayed in this column is retrieved based on the following steps:

1. Is a Credit Limit attached to the particular AR Account? If Yes, then populate the amount. But if not, then;

2. Is a Credit Limit attached to the AR Account Type assigned to the AR Account? If Yes, then populate the amount. But if not then;

3. Is a Credit Limit defined for the AR>Global Credit Limit application setting? If Yes, then populate this amount. But if not then;

4. The Credit Limit amount will remain blank.

Over. Total amount the AR Account is over their set credit limit.

Total AR Balances. Total amount of AR Balances that is calculated by adding all of the AR Balance figures on the report.

Total AR Overages. Total amount of AR Overages that is calculated by adding all of the AR Over figures on the report.
