Description. When a sharing reservation is checked in, automatically check in any other sharers whose arrival date is today's date. If you add a sharer after any of the guests who are sharing the room have already checked in and the arrival date of the new sharer is today’s date, the added sharer is automatically checked in without prompts.

Property Determination. With automatic check-in of sharing reservations, check-in validations will take place in the background. If any of the validations fail, the automatic check-in will be halted, the appropriate prompts will appear, and the check-in must be handled manually.

The Check In Process is affected by Pop Up Blocker configuration, Print Registration Card and Check In Successful messages for example.

The Check In Process is affected by Reservation Alerts defined at check in. These Check In Alerts will continue to display even when this parameter is active.

If the Extension function is active, extensions will be prompted for the first share checked in, all additional shares automatically checked in will assume a blank extension number. Users can edit the additional share reservations and assign extensions if required.

If the Virtual Numbers add-on license code is active and configured as Guest Based, the Virtual Number screen will be displayed for each share reservation being checked in. If the Virtual Number configuration is room based, the Virtual Number screen will display for the first share reservation being checked in only when this parameter is Y.

If the Chip and Pin function is active, the Payment Method screen will display for those additional shares being automatically checked in with a payment method of CP.
