Select New, or a Chain button and display the Define Search screen to start the profile or property search process for the guest. You can also select Reservations > New > <property type> from the Main Menu.

Search Criteria

When the property search criteria is defined, all other criteria will be disabled. If multiple search criteria are specified, OPERA uses multiple combinations to narrow down (if a city and a rate code are defined, OPERA displays all properties with the rate code specified within the specified city) the Property Search screen. If a specific property is specified with additional search criteria, OPERA displays only the specified property and its alternate properties. If contradicting search criteria are entered, a message states: There is no property qualifying the search <the mismatched property search criteria display>). Please modify the search criteria.
