Function Space Setup Styles Configuration

The Function Setup Styles screen can be used to configure the setup styles (for example, seating arrangements or furniture and equipment placements) available for function spaces at the property. The setup styles are assigned to the function space using the Function Space Setup screen. See Function Space Setup Styles for details.

You can access this screen by selecting System Configuration > Reservations > Function Space Classifications > Function Setup Styles when the OPS<version number> OPERA S&C license is active; or, when the Blocks > Diary application function is set to Y, you can access this screen by selecting System Configuration > Reservations > Catering > Function Setup Styles.

Note: When the license code Webservices Sales & Catering WCS_<version number> or Webservices Conference Center WCC_<version number> is active, an additional flag 'Bookable via Web Site' is available for selection on the Function Setup Styles - Edit or Function Setup Styles - New screen. Selection of this flag will make the configured function setup style available for booking via the website. Two additional fields, Setup Time and Setdown Time will display on the Function Setup Styles - New/Edit screen.

The Function Setup Styles screen shows the following information:

Code. Function space setup style code.

Description. Description of the setup style.

Web. Available when Webservices Sales & Catering WCS_<version number> or Webservices Conference Center WCC_<version number> is active, this column indicates if the function setup style is available for a booking via the website.

Adding and Modifying Setup Styles

To create a new function space setup style, select the New button on the Function Setup styles screen. To change a function space setup style, highlight your choice and select the Edit button. he Function Setup Styles - New or Function Setup Styles - Edit screen appears. Provide the following information and select the Save button.

Code. Enter a code for the function space setup style.

Description. Enter a description of the function space setup style. Select the globe icon to provide multi-lingual translations of the description.

Display in Directory. Select this check box to see this setup style and its maximum capacity shown for function spaces when they are listed on the Property Configuration screen's Conventions/Meeting Rooms tab (see Property Configuration- Convention/Meeting Rooms Tab for details). Up to five setup styles can be selected to appear on the Convention/Meeting Rooms tab.

Sequence. Enter a number to control the position of this setup style in lists of setup styles. Setup styles without a sequence number will be displayed in alphabetical order following setup styles that have a sequence number assigned.
