External Reference Responses
When a booking or group is created in OPERA PMS and sent to the external system, the system normally sends a response carrying the External Confirmation number or Group booking ID. When the initial download response cannot update due to a user locking the record, the OXI interface will attempt a Retry. The retry will be based on OXI parameters. These can be set manually and are located under Interface Configuration>Interface Parameters>OXI_GENERIC group>Parameters RETRY_COUNT and RETRY_INTERVAL. These parameters are intended to allow OXI to perform updates without manual intervention. If a user locks the record indefinitely, resulting in the parameters having used all values then the message will fail and must be processed manually from the Message Status screen.
