Generic Business Rules for Reservations with FTCRS

This topic contains the following generic business rules for reservations with FTCRS:

New Reservation handling – Reservations originating in OPERA PMS

• Reservations are modifiable from the CRS side.

• Reservations can be canceled from the CRS side.

• Reservations can have comments added to them from the CRS side.

• Reservations booked to (NORATE) rate code is not modifiable from the CRS side.

• Reservations booked to (NORATE) rate code can be canceled from the CRS side.

• Reservations booked to (NORATE) rate code cannot have comments added from the CRS side.

• Reservations guaranteed by Deposits are modifiable from the CRS side.

• Reservations guaranteed by Deposits can be canceled but a warning message will be issued.

• Reservations guaranteed by Deposits can have comments added to them from the CRS side.

Upgraded Reservation handling – Reservations originating in OPERA PMS

• Upgraded Reservations are not modifiable from the CRS side

• Cannot be canceled from the CRS side

• Cannot have comments added from the CRS side

Group Reservation handling – Reservations originating in OPERA PMS

• Group reservations with no rate on the Block are modifiable from the CRS side

• Group reservations with no rate on the Block can be canceled from the CRS side

• Group reservations with no rate on the Block can have comments added from the CRS side

Share Reservation handling – Reservations originating in OPERA PMS

• Reservations are not modifiable from the CRS side

• Can be canceled from the CRS side

• Cannot have comments added from the CRS side

Reverse Check-In handling – Reservations originating in OPERA PMS

• Checked-In reservations that are rolled back and now are RESERVED again, are modifiable from the CRS side

• Once RESERVED, they can be canceled from the CRS side

• Once RESERVED, they can have comments added from the CRS side

Check-In Reservation handling – Reservations originating in OPERA PMS

• Checked-In reservations are not modifiable from the CRS side

• Checked-In reservations cannot be canceled from the CRS side

• Checked-In reservations cannot have comments added from the CRS side

No Show Reservation handling – Reservations originating in OPERA PMS

• No showed reservations are not modifiable from the CRS side

• No showed reservations cannot be canceled from the CRS side

• No showed reservations cannot have comments added from the CRS side
