Installing Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0

Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 must be installed prior to installing OEDS. The .NET Framework Version 2.0 improves scalability and performance of applications, with improved caching, application deployment and updating (with ClickOnce), and support for the broadest array of browsers and devices with ASP.NET 2.0 controls and services.

To install Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0, open Internet Explorer and type http://www.microsoft.com/downloads in the address bar. Select Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 from the download list (or perform a search), and follow the instructions on the screen.

Note: If you discover that .Net 2.0 was installed before Internet Information Services (IIS) during the installation process, you will need to re-register .Net 2.0 for IIS.
