Reservation Configuration Settings

Refer to the following image and the table below for information on configuring the reservation settings.

Field

Description

Session Purge Interval (in minutes)

Number of minutes the GWIZ Session Purge service sleeps before purging the database.

Business Event Interval (in seconds)

Number of seconds the GWIZ Business Event service sleeps before processing update messages.

Business Event Loop Exit Count

Enter the number of records that the GWIZ Business Event Processor processes before service will go in sleep mode for some time. The amount of time that the processor sleeps before restarting is determined by the value entered in the Business Event Interval (in seconds) field.

Availability Status Interval (in seconds)

Number of seconds the GWIZ AVSTAT service sleeps before sending restriction messages to the external system.

Site Name

Replace with your hotel name. Replace TEST with Production if working within a live environment.

Suppress Direction

If set to NO then Direction text will be sent in the Rate Rules response message. If set to YES, then the Direction text will not be sent.

TypeA Port Number

Ports used by Pegasus for Type A Transaction Messages. Agreed upon by Pegasus and the hotel.

You can configure multiple ports by selecting the Add button and entering the port number. You can add or remove ports only when upgrading OEDS.

TypeB Port Number

Port used by Pegasus for Type B Transaction Messages. Agreed upon by Pegasus and the hotel.

When you have entered all of the information, select the Next > button.
