Description. Select to No Show the Reservation on the Last Night of the Guest Stay or change the Reservation to a Day Use Reservation to No Show that night.

Property Determination. Defining a value for this application setting gives the property flexibility to choose which way they would like OPERA to handle Rolling Noshow Reservations.

Other Application Settings.

This application setting works in conjunction with the Reservations>Rolling No Show application setting and the value defined for it. The Rolling No Show setting allows for the selection of the reservation types that will be handled with the rolling no show functionality. Note: If a value is defined for the Rolling No Show setting, then No Show Day Use will be set for this setting by default.

The following lists how the Rolling No Show functionality will work based on the value set for the Reservations>Rolling No Show Preference application setting.

Note: Rolling No Show functionality allows for Reservations not to be automatically no showed during End of Day. Instead the arrival date will be automatically extended to the next day until the departure day is reached.

Last Night

A reservation with an Arrival Date of 01/01 and a Departure Date of 01/06. After Rolling No Show from 01/01 to 01/02, up to the last night of the stay (01/05), the reservation will be No Showed on 01/05.

No Show Day Use

A reservation with an Arrival Date of 01/01 and a Departure Date of 01/06. After Rolling No Show from 01/01 to 01/02, up to the last night of the stay (01/05). When Rolling No Show from 01/05 to 01/06, on 01/06 the reservation will become a Day Use Reservation and will be No Showed that night of 01/06.
