Recalculate Sales Allowance
The Recalculate Sales Allowance (Utilities > Synchronize Utilities > Recalculate Sales Allowance) utility is used when the Sales Allowance Availability is incorrect. This utility also allows the incorrect sales allowances to be put back in sync with the booked rooms. The Available Sales Allowances can get out of sync when the number of rooms allotted to the Sales Allowance is changed after deduct inventory bookings already exist for the dates.
Note: It is recommended that this Utility is run every time a Sales Allowance is changed. The Utility should be run for the same time frame that the Sales Allowance records are updated for.
Property. Displays the property where the sales allowance is incorrect.
Allotment D. Qty. Number of room nights booked at a deduct status for the date from the allotment detail table. A discrepancy will occur if the total for this column is not calculated by adding the sum of the Booked Rooms with the Overbooked Rooms.
Ceiling Date. Date for the Sales Allowance.
Sales Allowance. Number of rooms allotted to the Sales Allowance for the selected date.
Booked. Number of rooms booked against the Sales Allowance at a deduct status. This figure can never be higher than the Sales Allowance number.
Over Booked. Number of rooms booked that is more than the allotted Sales Allowance.
Available. Number of rooms still available on the Sales Allowance.
Selecting the Correct button will update the incorrect Sales Allowance and put them back in sync with the booked rooms.
