D Appendix D – Implementation Considerations

This appendix describes Global Menu duties needed for implementation.

Global Menu Duties

In the sidebar menu, the topmost button will open the Application Navigator. In this pane will be a link for each application within the Merchandising suite to which the user has been granted access via the assignment of the corresponding Global Menu Duty. Clicking a link in the Application Navigator will open the application in a new browser tab or window. Access to these links are controlled by a single duty per application which does not contain any privileges. Assigning these duties to a given role will grant access to the application's link.

Table D-1 lists the Global Menu Duties.
