You can uninstall the Oracle VM Storage Connect Plug-In for Oracle Flash Storage Systems from the host running Oracle VM if you no longer need it.
When you uninstall the software, all traces of the software are removed.
- Issue the following command to search for any previous versions of the plug-in:
rpm -qa | grep osc-oracle-oraclefs
- Issue the following command to remove the plug-in:
rpm -e osc-oracle-oraclefs-n.n.n.el6.noarch.rpm
where
n.n.n is the version of the software.
- Issue the following command to verify that you have removed the software:
rpm -qa | grep osc-oracle-oraclefs
- Launch the Oracle VM Manager and log in.
- Rediscover the Oracle VM Server upon which you performed the software update. To rediscover the Oracle VM Server, in Oracle VM Manager, on the Servers and VMs tab, right-click the Oracle VM Server, and then select Rediscover Server.
