Attaching Photos and Videos

The following process applies to BP records and line items that are designed to accept photos, videos, files, and audio files.

The Multiple Photos option lets you capture and add up to 10 images from the camera. You can upload the individual images (the default), or you can merge them into a PDF file.

To add an individual item:

1. Touch one of the following options: Gallery, Camera, Document Manager, Files app, Voice Message.
2. Follow the prompts to either include your picture or video or take a picture or video.
3. Preview the selected photos, and select any of the following actions:
   • Rename duplicated file names highlighted in red or rename files to suit your business needs.
   • Touch Delete to remove any attached files or photos.
   • When finished previewing, touch Done.

   When uploading files using Camera, the default file names display the date and time when the files are created based on user preference, time zone and date format:

   • For Images - <Img_DateTime>. For example, Img_20231017110523AM – representing October 17, 2023 at 11:05:23am.
   • For Video - <Vid_DateTime>. For example, Vid_20231017110523AM – representing October 17, 2023 at 11:05:23am.
   • For Audio - <Audio_DateTime>. For example, Audio_20231017110523AM – representing October 17, 2023 at 11:05:23am.
4. When finished, touch Save.

   Note: The source for uploading files depends on the BP design and configuration.

To add up to 10 photos:

1. Touch Multiple Photos.
2. On the Multiple Photos screen, in the Prefix for all the images field, update the prefix, if applicable.

   By default, the system starts each file name with IMG and a time stamp.

3. In the Size field, select Small or Medium.

   By default, the system selects Small.

4. Touch Next.
5. Take or select up to 10 photos.
6. If you want to preview the selected images, complete the following steps; otherwise, touch the check mark.
   1. Touch the thumbnail icon that displays the image count.
   2. On the Preview screen, review the images.
   3. To delete an image, select it and touch the Delete icon. Focus automatically moves to the next image. If you delete the last image in the display, focus automatically moves to the previous image. If you delete all images, the app returns to the camera.
   4. To return to the camera, touch the left arrow.
   5. To upload the selected images to the BP or line item record, touch the check mark.
7. Touch SAVE or SUBMIT.

To add a PDF file that contains multiple photos:

1. Touch Multiple Photos.
2. On the Multiple Photos screen, enable Merge Into PDF.
3. In the PDF File Name field, update the name, if applicable.

   By default, the system labels the file with PDF and a time stamp.

4. In the Size field, select Small or Medium.

   By default, the system selects Small.

5. Touch Next.
6. Take or select up to 10 photos.
7. Touch Merge as PDF.
8. Touch SAVE or SUBMIT.
