BP Records Overview
You can create any BP record if:
- The BP has been enabled for the Mobile App.
- You have permission to create the BP. The Plus
will not be seen for users who do not have permissions to create a BP record.
When you create a new BP record or view or work with existing ones, there are multiple fields that appear as read-only (dimmed) on the Mobile App. This includes, but is not limited to, fields such as BP Creator, BP Line Item Creator, and Issue Record.
Tapping Recent on the Home Workspace accesses the last 20 business process (BP) records that you worked on.
For a selected workspace, the Recent Business Process section displays up to four BPs that have been accessed only on mobile devices. To display a list of available BPs, tap See All.
You can tap in the upper-right corner to access additional options, including:
- Map View: Lets you view the geo-location of your BP records if geo-coding values for latitude and longitude are available.
- Filter: When you tap Filter, the Search fields that are based on the form settings in uDesigner are applicable.
- Refresh Business Process Design: Lets you refresh and reload the BP with the latest updates made to the design, configuration, and setup.
- Download Records for Editing: Lets you download multiple records while you are in Online mode.
- Download All Records for Reference: Lets you download all records while you are in Online mode. Use of this option downloads only the minimum data required; however, it can still require substantial time and bandwidth, depending on the number of records. These minimized sets of downloaded records are not displayed in the BP log when you are using the mobile app in Offline mode, but they are available through BP pickers. That is, while all the information is downloaded, the attachments, comments, and Detail forms are excluded from view in the BP log.
- Delete Downloaded Record(s): Lets you delete all the offline records on your device for the selected business process (BP) tile
- Delete Drafts: Lets you delete the drafts of existing and new records.
