E4065 Cmd Rej: Application Sockets on Port B Not Allowed

A link cannot be assigned to Port B if an association is assigned to the port.

Recovery

  1. Display the associated IP address for Port B. Enter the rtrv-ip-lnk command.
  2. Display the host name associated with the IP address. Enter the rtrv-ip-host command.
  3. Determine whether any associations are assigned to the host name. Enter the rtrv-assoc:lhost= command, specifying the host name of interest.
  4. Delete the assocation if desired. Refer to the Database Administration - IP7 User's Guide for assistance.
  5. Re-enter the chg-ip-lnk command that generated this message, specifying a valid combination of parameters. Refer to the command description in Commands User's Guide and to the Database Administration - IP7 User's Guide for assistance
