E4529 Cmd Rej: MAP entry is being referred by other entities

If the Flexible GTT Load Sharing (FGTTLS) feature is enabled, then a MAP entry cannot be deleted if the entry is referenced in the MRN, GTT, GTT Action, GSM MAP Opcode or GSM MAP Screening table using the MAPSET/PC/SSN combination, or if the entry is referenced in the MRN, GTT, GSM MAP Opcode, GSM MAP Screening, or PPSOPTS table using the MAPSET/PC combination, and the entry is the last entry in that MAP set with the specified point code.

If the FGTTLS feature is not enabled, then a MAP entry cannot be deleted if the entry is referenced in the GTT, GTT Action, GSM MAP Opcode or GSM MAP Screening table using the PC/SSN combination or if the entry is referenced in GTT, GSM MAP Opcode, GSM MAP Screening, or PPSOPTS table using the point code, and the entry is the last entry in the MAP table with the specified point code.

Recovery

  1. Display the status of the FGTTLS feature. Enter the rtrv-ctrl-feat command.
If the feature does not appear in the output, then the feature is not enabled. If the feature has a status of OFF, then the feature is enabled but is not turned on.
  2. Display the entries in the relevant table. Enter the rtrv-gtt or rtrv-gta commands to display the GTT table, the rtrv-gttact command to display the GTT Action table, the rtrv-gsms-opcode command to display the GSM MAP Opcode table, the rtrv-gsmmap-scrn command to display the GSM MAP Screening table, the rtrv-map command to display the MAP table, and the rtrv-ppsopts command to display the PPSOPTS table.
  3. Revise the data as necessary. Refer to the Database Administration - GTT User's Guide for assistance.
  4. Re-enter the dlt-map command that generated this error message.
