For the chg/ent-card commands, the E5-ENET or E5-ENET-B card must be inhibited and in an Out-of Service-state before the card can be changed/provisioned.

For the chg-gedti-card command, if the GEDTI Hub is in ACTIVE state then the port cannot be changed.

For the dlt-card command, the card must be inhibited before it can be deleted.

For the dlt-lg-card command, the card must be deactivated before it can be deleted.

For the dlt-lg-engine command, the engine must be deactivated before it can be deleted.

For the dlt-lg-grp command, the group must be deactivated before it can be deleted.

For the dlt-slk command, the signaling link must be in the unavailable (UAV) state before it can be removed.

For the ent-slk command, the command cannot be entered, if the link is In-Service.

Recovery

  1. Display the state of the card or signaling link. Enter the rept-stat-card or rept-stat-slk command, respectively.
For both commands, the information on the state is shown in the PST column.
  2. The state of the card must be OOS-MT-DSBLD to remove the last signaling link on a card.
  3. Change the status of the card or link as necessary. Refer to the Database Administration - IP7 User's Guide (IP cards and links) and to the Database Administration - SS7 User's Guide (SS7 cards and links).
  4. Re-enter the command that generated this error message.
