E4089 Cmd Rej: Unable to change adapter when assigned to an AS

The adapter value for an association cannot be changed if the association is assigned to an application server (AS).

Recovery

1. Display each AS and its current association. Enter the rtrv-as command.
2. Delete the association name for the adapter to be changed. Refer to the Database Administration - IP7 User's Guide.
3. Re-enter the chg-assoc command that generated this error message.
