E3597 Cmd Rej: IP Address still referenced by static IP Routes

The addresses specified by the ipaddr and submask parameters cannot be changed to addresses that represent a different network if the address is referenced by any static IP routes using this network interface.

Recovery

  1. Display the current static IP route addresses. Enter the rtrv-ip-rte command.
  2. Display the current ipaddr and submask addresses.
    Enter the rtrv-ip-lnk command.
  3. Re-enter the chg-ip-lnk command, specifying a valid combination of parameters. Refer to the command description in Commands User's Guide and to Database Administration - IP7 User's Guide for assistance.
