E4093 Cmd Rej: Too many associations per card

A maximum of 32 associations can be provisioned on an E5-ENET/E5-ENET-B card running the IPSG application or a DEIR card running the DEIRHC application.

A maximum of 128 associations can be provisioned on a SLIC card running the IPSG application.

Recovery

  1. Display the card type. Enter the rtrv-card command. If a SLIC card is plugged into a slot provisioned for E5-ENET or E5-ENET-B, the chg-card command can be optionally used to change the card type from enet or enetb to slic. The card must be manually inhibited first to allow the command to be processed.
  2. Display the existing associations. Enter the rtrv-assoc command.
  3. Delete associations as necessary. Refer to the Database Administration - IP7 User's Guide for assistance.
  4. Re-enter the ent/chg-assoc command that generated this error message.
