E2118 Cmd Rej: IP address already in use

For the chg-snmp-host command, the specified IP address is in use for another SNMP host.

For the ent-snmp-host command, the specified IP address is in use for another SNMP host.

Note:

The entry for the specified IPADDR can not already exist.

Recovery

  1. Enter the rtrv-snmp-host command to display the existing IP address provisioned in the SNMP Host table.
    The IP address must be unique to the SNMP host.
  2. Re-enter the command that generated this error message, specifying a valid combination of parameters. Refer to the command description in Commands User's Guide for assistance.
