Within EnterpriseTrack there can be two types of pull-down values, Global and Initiative-specific. In systems that have a single initiative, the global fields will not be distinguished from the initiative specific ones.
Creating global pull down values
- Click the Application Configuration tab.
- In the Global Pull down Values section, click on the type of global pull down value you want to create.
- You will see a list of the existing values for that category.
- Click the Create a New button.
- Enter a name for the value.
- Enter an order ID.
- Click Create.
Editing global pull down values
- Click the Application Configuration tab.
- In the Global Pulldown Values section, click on the type of global pull down value you want to edit.
- You will see a list of the existing values for that category.
- Click on the name of the value you want to edit.
- In the Edit Pulldown Value for Functional Area page make the required changes.
- Click Update.
Deleting global pull down values
Once created, the Global pull down values cannot be deleted through the user interface. Contact Oracle Customer Support for more information.
