Setting Status Indicators for Measures

To set the status indicators for a measure:

  1. Click the Measures tab within the Details pane of the appropriate node.
  2. Click the Edit link next to the measure for which you want to set the status indicator.
  3. Click the Status Indicators tab.
  4. From the Status Indicator pull-down menu, select a status indicator.
  5. Select the status type is Manual or Computed. If computed, specify the status period an how you want to compute the status.
    1. Specify the status period you want to use. If you select Last, the status is computed based on the last available data, including future dates. If you select Current, the status is calculated based on the current period data. If no current data is available, the last available data is used.
    2. Select whether you want to compute the status based on Plan, Actual, Variance, or % of variance.
    3. Define the lower and upper level values for each level within the indicator.
  6. Click Save.
