EnterpriseTrack allows you to specify strategic alignment for the project when new proposals and projects are created.
You can specify the strategy with which a project is aligned at the proposal stage. A project may contribute to one or more strategies. User can specify the percentage contribution towards each strategy.
- To view the current strategic alignments of a project or proposal, click the Strategic alignment tab in the Edit Proposal or Edit Project pages.
- You can edit the percent contribution of each strategy (for a particular project) by clicking the Edit Contributions button.
- To view the details of each strategy, click the [View] link in the action column. You can view the details of the strategy including a list of all projects associated with it, links to associated ideas and proposals and a report about the strategy.
Adding a strategic alignment to a project
- To add a strategy to a project, click the Add Strategy link on the Strategic alignment page.
- The strategy tree can be expanded by clicking the [+] next to the strategy categories.
- Select the strategy you wish to associate with the project and click the Add button. The strategy is added to the list on the Strategic alignment page.
Note: Strategic alignment cannot be specified while a Quick Project is created. You can go back and edit it to specify the strategies.
