Add Class Rule Variables

The user can add new global class rule variables that may be applicable to a particular Class and variables defined at the Class level are not visible to other Classes. If newly added variables have the same name as existing predefined variables the Global variables will be overridden.

Steps to Create a New Class Rule Variables (Global)

1. From the Admin menu, select Misc | Class Rule Variables from the drop-down menu. The Global Class Rules Variables will appear. The variables already defined will appear. If no variables exist, Add Variable window will appear.

2. Click the Add Variable button .

3. Select the applicable Typeand DataTypefrom the drop down selections. The Attributes section below will dynamically populate the attribute list based on the variable type chosen by the user. You can enter values for those attributes.

4. Type the applicable data within the Text box to define the value of the variable.

5. Select Save from the bottom of the screen when finished. The new Class Variable is added displayed in the table.

   Important

   Click the hamburger menu in the Variable row, to Edit or Delete. Also, you can add a row above or below the existing row to add new variables from the hamburger menu options.
