8 Engagement Cloud Service

The Engagement Cloud Service is Simphony’s web-based user interface for the Workstation 6 Series. The Engagement Cloud Service is deployed and automatically enabled with Simphony installation.

There are two types of pages in the Engagement UI:

  • Welcome Page: Initial page that appears on tablet devices.

  • Hub Pages: Pages that appear on the tablet after workstation operators sign on and press the Hub button.

Pages can contain widgets that enhance workstation functionality. For example, you can view daily specials, image slideshows, a Twitter feed, and Oracle Hospitality Reporting and Analytics reports on the tablet’s touchscreen (depending on the configuration).
